They witnessed Simhasthas grandeur through inner eyes

Disabled persons take holy dip on CM Shri Chouhan's initiative 

They are sightless, but it was explicit from smiles and expression of satisfaction on their faces that they have seen everything through eyes of heart during Simhastha including clean water of holy Kshipra river, Mahakal and other deities and Akharas of saints and seers in Mahakumbh. Here we are talking about the sightless persons from the state capital Bhopal who took the holy dip in Kshipra during Simhastha at Ujjain today. Earlier this morning, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan had sent off these disabled persons from his residence here today.

The disabled persons took the holy dip at Patanjali Ghat near Lalpul in Bhukhi Mata area. As many as 55 sightless persons of Bhopal's Blind Welfare Association and their family members were visiting Ujjain for the holy dip and Darshan of Lord Mahakal. The Chief Minister has sent off these disabled persons for Simhastha Snan due to his firm belief that they are inseparable part of society in which they have equal contribution.

Sightless Shri R.K. Rathore from Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal said that while sending us off from Bhopal, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan had told us to see Ujjain Simhastha through eyes of heart. He said that after taking the holy dip, he is realising depth of Chief Minister's words. Shri S.D. Gajbhiye from South T T Nagar, Bhopal was also very happy. Expressing gratitude towards the Chief Minister, he said that they got better facility than they had hoped. Members of disabled team from Bhopal also insisted on having Darshan of Lord Mahakal. They said that the Chief Minister has made special arrangements for them for this. Follower of every religion wishes to visit pilgrimages. It is responsibility of society to arrange for pilgrimage journey of those who are unable to undertake it themselves. The state government under Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan is discharging this duty very well. The Chief Minister has shown commitment towards aged and disabled people. For this, Mukhyamantri Tirth-Darshan Yojana is being implemented. Availing benefit of this scheme, lakhs of elderly people in the twilight of their lives have fulfilled long cherished wish to undertake pilgrimage journey. With the same spirit, the Chief Minister sent off these sight-impaired persons for Kumbh Snan.

मुख्यमंत्री की पहल पर आए दिव्यांगों ने किए क्षिप्रा स्नान 

उन सबकी आँखें तो नहीं देख सकती थीं, पर चेहरे पर तैर रही मुस्कान और संतुष्टि के भाव यही कहते प्रतीत हो रहे थे कि  मन की आँखों से हमने परम-पावन सिंहस्थ में सब कुछ देख लिया है। पवित्र सलिला क्षिप्रा का निर्मल नीर, महाकाल सहित सभी देवी-देवताओं के मंदिर, साधु-संतों के अखाड़े और महाकुम्भ का सम्पूर्ण वैभव। यहाँ बात हो रही है प्रदेश की राजधानी भोपाल से आज अमरता के महापर्व  सिंहस्थ में मोक्षदायिनी क्षिप्रा में डुबकी लगाने आये दृष्टि बाधित दिव्यांगों की। मुख्यमंत्री श्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने भोपाल निवास से आज सुबह इन दिव्यांग जनों को विशेष वाहन से रवाना किया था।

पवित्र नगरी उज्जयिनी पहुँचकर दिव्यांगजनों ने भूखी माता मंदिर क्षेत्र में लालपुल के समीप स्थित पतंजलि घाट पर परम् पावनी क्षिप्रा में डुबकी लगाई। सिंहस्थ स्नान एवं भगवान महाकाल के दर्शन के लिए भोपाल के दृष्टिहीन कल्याण संघ से जुडे़ लगभग 55 दिव्यांग एवं उनके परिजन उज्जैन आये हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने इस भाव के साथ दिव्यांगों को सिंहस्थ स्नान के लिए भेजा है कि वे भी समाज के अभिन्न अंग हैं और उनका सामाजिक व्यवस्था में बराबर का योगदान है।

इस दल में आए शिवाजी नगर भोपाल निवासी दृष्टि बाधित दिव्यांग आर.के. राठौर का कहना था मुख्यमंत्री ने भोपाल से हमें रवाना करते समय शुभकामनाएँ देते हुए कहा था कि आपको उज्जैन पहुँचकर मन की आँखों से परम-पावन सिंहस्थ के दर्शन होंगे। पवित्र सलिला क्षिप्रा में डुबकी लगाने के बाद मै वास्तव में अपने अंत:करण में मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा कही गई बातें महसूस कर रहा हूँ। इसी तरह साउथ टी.टी. नगर, भोपाल निवासी एस.डी. गजभिए सिंहस्थ की उत्तम व्यवस्थाओं से काफी खुश थे। वे मुख्यमंत्री के प्रति कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करते हुए कह रहे थे कि हम सबको उम्मीद से अधिक सुविधाएँ मिली। भोपाल से आए दिव्यांग दल के सदस्य यह भी कह रहे थे कि वे सब महाकाल के दर्शन भी करेंगे। उन्हें दर्शन करवाने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री ने विशेष इंतजाम किये हैं। हर धर्म के अनुयायी की अभिलाषा होती है कि वह अपने जीवन में तीर्थ कर इस लोक को धन्य करे। जो तीर्थ करने में अपने आपको अक्षम पाते हैं, उनकी मदद करने का उत्तरदायित्व समाज पर होता है। मुख्यमंत्री श्री चौहान के नेतृत्व  में प्रदेश सरकार इस दायित्व को बखूबी निभा रही है। बुजुर्गों एवं दिव्यांगों के प्रति मुख्यमंत्री की सह्रदयता जग-जाहिर है। श्री चौहान की पहल पर प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा  मुख्यमंत्री तीर्थ दर्शन योजना संचालित की जा रही है। इस योजना का लाभ उठाकर जीवन की आखिरी दहलीज़ पर खड़े प्रदेश के लाखों बुज़ुर्गों का तीर्थ यात्रा का सपना पूरा किया है। इसी योजना के भाव के साथ मुख्यमंत्री ने दृष्टि बाधित दिव्यांगों को भी कुम्भ स्नान करवाया है।
