Shri Prabhas Jha takes over as Parliamentary Affairs Secretary

Shri Prabhas Kumar Jha today assumed the office of Secretary in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs. 

Member of Indian Administrative Service (1982 Batch) from Uttar Pradesh cadre served in different senior positions in the Central Government. His last assignment was as Special Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. He also served as Joint Secretary (Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances). 

The 1958 borne Shri Jha is a Physics Graduate and joined the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs as Secretary on the superannuation of Shri Afzal Amanullah yesterday.
