Raipur​​​​​​​ : Notification of Chhattisgarh State Song- 'Arpa Pairi Ke Dhaar, Mahanadi He Apaar...' published in gazette

State Government has declared Chhattisgarhi song 'Arpa Pairi Ke Dhar, Mahanadi He Apaar...' written by Dr. Narendra Dev Verma as State Song. Notification of the same has been published in the Chhattisgarh Gazette on 18 November 2019, and with that this notification of State Song has become effective.

Chhattisgarh Government's General Administration Department has issued letter to all the government departments, Chairman Revenue Board, Department heads, Divisional Comissioner and District Collector to ensure singing of Chhattisgarh State Song at the opening of every government programme.

The Chhattisgarhi Song written by Dr. Narendra Dev Verma which has been declared as State Song by Chhattisgarh Government is as follows-

‘‘अरपा पइरी के धार महानदी हे अपार,

इन्द्राबती ह पखारय तोर पइँँया ।

महूँ पाँव परँव तोर भुइँया,

जय हो जय हो छत्तिसगढ़ मइया ।।

सोहय बिन्दिया सही घाते डोंगरी, पहार

चन्दा सुरूज बने तोर नयना,

सोनहा धाने के संग, लुगरा के हरिहर रंग

तोर बोली जइसे सुघर मइना।

अँचरा तोरे डोलावय पुरवइया ।।

( महूँ पाँव परँव तोर भुइँया, जय हो जय हो छत्तिसगढ़ मइया ।। )

रइगढ़ हाबय सुघर तोरे मँउरे मुकुट

सरगुजा (अऊ) बेलासपुर हे बहियाँ,

रइपुर कनिहा सही घाते सुग्घर फभय

 दुरूग, बस्तर सोहय पयजनियाँ,

नाँदगाँवे नवा करधनियाँ
