Inmates of Vidisha old age home take holy dip

Express happiness over arrangements

Simhastha at Ujjain is on its last leg. Number of devotees is increasing day by day. Inmates of Shri Hari Old Age Home at Vidisha had also wished to take the holy dip in Kshipra. Due to cooperation of district administration, 27 aged persons of the old age home took the holy dip at Mangalanth Ghat today. Social Justice Department has made arrangements for their stay.

Expressing happiness after the dip, the elderly persons said that they had taken the holy dip during Kumbh earlier also, but never experienced such excellent arrangements. They lauded construction of attractive ghats, arrangements for sanitation, chilled water and water coolers. Old age home inmate Laxmi Bai Shrivastava, Angoori Bai, Namdev, Bhanwri Bai, Ram Prasad Yadav, Goverdhan Rajoriya, Chokhe Lal Namdev, Bhajori Lal Ahirwar and Khilan Singh were all praise for arrangements. They said that they would express gratitude towards Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan on return to Vidisha. Institution's Director Shri Ved Prakash Sharma also thanked the administration for fulfilling long cherished wish of aged people.

विदिशा वृद्धाश्रम के वृद्धजनों ने लगाई डुबकी

व्यवस्थाओं पर जाहिर की प्रसन्नता

उज्जैन का सिंहस्थ महाकुंभ अंतिम पड़ाव की ओर है। दिन-प्रतिदिन श्रद्धालुओं की संख्या बढ़ रही है। विदिशा में संचालित श्री हरि वृद्धाश्रम में रहने वाले बुजुर्गों ने सिंहस्थ में क्षिप्रा में डुबकी लगाने की इच्छा जाहिर की। इस पर जिला प्रशासन के सहयोग से आश्रम के 27 बुजुर्ग ने आज उज्जैन पहुँचकर मंगलनाथ घाट पर डुबकी लगाई। उनके रुकने की व्यवस्था सामाजिक न्याय विभाग ने की। डुबकी लगाने के बाद वृद्धजनों ने यहाँ की व्यवस्थाओं पर अति-प्रसन्नता जाहिर करते हुए कहा कि पहले भी हमने कुंभ में डुबकी लगाई है, लेकिन ऐसी अच्छी व्यवस्था अब तक कहीं नहीं मिली। उन्होंने घाटों पर निर्माण, साफ-सफाई, ठंडे पानी और कूलर की व्यवस्था की भी प्रशंसा की है। वृद्धाश्रम में रह रही लक्ष्मी बाई श्रीवास्तव, अंगूरी बाई नामदेव, भंवरी बाई दांगी, राम प्रसाद यादव, गोवर्धन राजोरिया, चोखे लाल नामदेव, भजोरी लाल अहिरवार और खिलान सिंह ने व्यवस्थाओं को सराहा। उन्होंने कहा कि वे विदिशा पहुँचकर मुख्यमंत्री का आभार व्यक्त करेंगे। संस्था संचालक श्री वेदप्रकाश शर्मा ने भी वृद्धजनों की मनोकामना पूरी करने पर साधुवाद दिया।
