Rajasthan is the Land of The Kings. Raja means King and Sthan means place. It is also a tourist destination with lots of tourist attractions and facilities.

In Rajasthans culture More than 70% of Rajasthan people are vegetarian, which makes it the most vegetarian state in India.

 

Performing Arts:

Kathak: Kathak is a refined classical dance form; one of the six foremost classical dances of India.

Folk Arts: Folk Art is the art of the everyday. Folk Art comes from community and culture traditions.

Crafts: Crafts is an occupation or trade which requires manual artistic skills.

Hindus are the largest in number nearly 87.45% of the population of Rajasthan. Musalims (10.08%), Sikhs (1.27%), and Jains (1%).

Camel fairs take place every year in Bikaner, Pushkar, and other regions. It is a festival or celebration of sorts dedicated to the ship of the desert and their owners.These festivals are usually held for two days.

The dressing of Rajasthani :
The men wear dhotis and kurtas with a headgear called pagri.The women wear sarees with the odhni covering their head as a sign of respect.

Language:
Most of the Rajasthani people speak English or Hindi language.Some of the other popular languages in Rajasthan are Marwari, Malvi, Mevati, Jaipuri. Marwari is the most famous among these.
