CURTAIN RAISER Showcasing Two Years Achievements of Ministry of Minority Affairs

The Ministry of Minority Affairs is organizing a function on 28th May, 2016 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi to highlight the achievement of the Ministry of Minority Affairs in the last two years.
Dr. Najma Heptulla, the Union Minister for Minority Affairs will inaugurate the function with her opening remarks. The speech of the Minister will be followed by screening of a film on the theme of the event.
A photo exhibition showcasing the work and crafts of artisans, will be held in the gallery of Vigyan Bhawan. Different Scheme will be displayed in different sections. Other activities scheduled for the event include signing of MoUs, book release and launching portal and web based monitoring system. Awards for success stories under all schemes will also be given. Successful candidates in various fields with the support of schemes may also make appearance to share their success story with the audience. In the recently declared UPSC results five candidates succeeded in Indian Civil Services examination with their grit and support of Ministry’s schemes. To inspire others, they may also share their experiences and journey to the success.
Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assemblies Diplomats, senior officers of the line Ministries implementing PM,s 15 Point Programme, beneficiaries of various schemes of the Ministry and other stake holders will be participating in the event.
