Clarification 
 

Attention of the Government has been drawn to the news item captioned “New Airline to Connect Capitals in North East Likely” at page 7 of the Economic Times dated 8th July, 2016 (New Delhi Edition). With respect to the aforementioned news item published, this is to clarify that “no such proposal, as mentioned in the news item, has been discussed by MoS (I/C), Development of North Eastern Region, Dr. Jitendra Singh with State Chief Ministers from the North East.”
