45 villages electrified last week ; 8,529 villages electrified till date under DDUGJY

145 villages have been electrified across the country during last week (from 20 th to 26th June 2016) under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojna (DDUGJY). Out of these electrified villages, 67 villages belong to Assam, 16 in Jharkhand, 29 in Meghalaya ,8 in Rajasthan , 11 in Odisha, 3 in Madhya Pradesh , 8 in Bihar, 2 in Chhattisgarh and 1 in Uttar Pradesh. An update on ongoing electrification process
In view of the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi’s address to nation, on Independence Day, Government of India has decided to electrify remaining 18,452 unelectrified villages within 1000 days i.e. by 01st May, 2018. The project has been taken on mission mode and strategy for electrification consists of squeezing the implementation schedule to 12 months and alsodividing village electrification process in 12 Stage milestones with defined timelines for monitoring.
8,529 villages have been electrified till date. Out of remaining 9,923 villages, 459 villages are uninhabitated. 6,374 villages are to be electrified through grid, 2,754 villages to be electrified through off- grid where grid solutions are out of reach due to geographical barriers and 336 villages are to be electrified by State Govt own. Total 1654 villages were electrified during April 2015 to 14th Aug 2015 and after taking initiative by Government of India for taking it on mission mode, 6,875 additional villages have been electrified from 15thAugust 2015 to 26th June,2016. In order to expedite the progress further, a close monitoring is being done through Gram Vidyut Abhiyanta (GVA) and various actions are also being taken on regular basis like reviewing the progress on monthly basis during the RPM meeting, sharing of list of villages which are at the stage of under energisation with the state Discom, identifying the villages where milestone progress are delayed.
देश भर के 145 गांवों में पिछले हफ्ते (20 से 26 जून 2016) के बीच दीन दयाल उपाध्याय ग्राम ज्योति योजना (डीडीयूजीजेवाई) के तहत बिजली पहुंचाई गई। जिन गांवों का विद्युतिकरण किया गया है उनमें असम- 67, झारखंड- 16, मेघालय- 29, राजस्थान-08 , ओडिशा-11, मध्य प्रदेश-3, बिहार- 8, छत्तीसगढ़ -02 और उत्तर प्रदेश-01 के गांव शामिल हैं। देश भर के गांवों में जारी विद्युतीकरण के काम में हो रही प्रगति की जानकारी http://garv.gov.in/dashboard से भी प्राप्त की जा सकती है।
मौजूदा विद्युतीकरण प्रक्रिया के बारे में जानकारी
स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के राष्ट्र को दिए संबोधन पर अमल करते हुए भारत सरकार ने 1000 दिन के भीतर यानी 01 मई 2018 तक शेष 18,452 गैर-विद्युतीकृत गांवों में विद्युतीकरण करने का फैसला किया है। इस परियोजना को अभियान के रूप में शुरू किया गया है और विद्युतीकरण की रणनीति में कार्यान्वयन की अवधि 12 महीनों में सीमित करना तथा गांवों के विद्युतीकरण की प्रक्रिया को निगरानी के लिए निश्चित समयावधि सहित 12 स्तरों में विभाजित किया गया है।
अब तक 8,529 गांवों का विद्युतीकृत किया जा चुका है। शेष 9,923 गांवों में से 459 गांवों में कोई बसावट नहीं हैं। 6,374 गांवों तक ग्रिड के माध्यम से बिजली पहुंचाई जानी है, भौगोलिक बाधाओं के कारण 2,754 गांवों तक ऑफ ग्रिड के माध्यम से बिजली पहुंचाई जानी है तथा 336 गांवों का विद्युतिकरण स्वयं राज्य सरकार द्वारा किया जाएगा। अप्रैल, 2015 से 14 अगस्त, 2015 तक 1654 गांवों का विद्युतिकरण किया गया और सरकार द्वारा मिशन मोड में पहल किए जाने के बाद 15 अगस्त, 2015 से 26 जून 2016 तक 6,875 अतिरिक्त गांवों का विद्युतिकरण किया गया।
इस प्रक्रिया में तेजी लाने के लिए ग्राम विद्युत अभियंता (जीवीए) के जरिए बारीकी नजर रखी जा रही है और नियमित अंतराल पर कई अन्य कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं, जैसे आरपीएम बैठक के दौरान मासिक आधार पर प्रगति की समीक्षा और उन गांवों की सूची को भी राज्य की बिजली कंपनियों से साझा किया जा है जहां विद्युतीकरण की प्रकिया जारी है। साथ ही ऐसे गांवों की भी पहचान की जाती है, जहां विद्युतीकरण की प्रक्रिया देरी से चल रही है।
