Law laid down -

1. In a case of circumstantial evidence, there must be a chain of evidence so complete as not to leave any reasonable ground for the conclusion consistent with the innocence of the accused and must show that in all human probability the act must have been done by the accused.

2. In an appeal against the order of acquittal, the Court has to be very cautious in interfering with an appeal unless there are compelling and substantial grounds to interfere with the order of acquittal.
