The only relief claimed in the petition is for a direction to the
Principal Judge, Family Court Agra, to decide the matrimonial
case no. 949 of 2011 within a stipulated time.
It appears from the record that the case in question has been
instituted by the petitioner under Section 13 of Hindu Marriage
Act, for dissolution of marriage dated 8.8.2010. The defendant has
already appeared in the suit and has filed her written statement.
Section 21-B of the Hindu Marriage Act specifically provides that
all proceedings under the Act should be held on a day to day basis
and effort should be made to conclude the proceedings as far as
possible within six months from the date of service of the petition
on the respondent.
In view of the aforesaid provisions under the Act, I am of the
opinion that no further direction is required.
The petition is accordingly disposed of.
