Section 344 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) in Hindi and English
344. दस या अधिक दिनों के लिए सदोष परिरोध -
जो कोई किसी व्यक्ति का सदोष परिरोध दस या अधिक दिनों के लिए करेगा, वह दोनों में से किसी भांति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि तीन वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, दण्डित किया जाएगा और जुर्माने से भी दण्डनीय होगा।
344. Wrongful confinement for ten or more days -
Whoever wrongfully confines any person for ten days, or more, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years, and shall also be liable to fine.
