305. शिशु या उन्मत्त व्यक्ति की आत्महत्या का दुष्प्रेरण -

यदि कोई अठ्ठारह वर्ष से कम आयु का व्यक्ति, कोई उन्मत्त व्यक्ति, कोई विपर्यस्त चित्त व्यक्ति, कोई जड़ व्यक्ति, या कोई व्यक्ति, जो मत्तता की अवस्था में है, आत्महत्या कर ले तो जो कोई ऐसी आत्महत्या के किए जाने का दुष्प्रेरण करेगा, वह मृत्यु या आजीवन कारावास या कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि दस वर्ष से अधिक की न हो सकेगी, दण्डित किया जाएगा और जुर्माने से भी दण्डनीय होगा।

305. Abetment of suicide of child or insane person -

If any person under eighteen years of age, any insane person, any delirious person, any idiot, or any person in a state of intoxication, commits suicide, whoever abets the commission of such suicide, shall be punished with death or imprisonment for life, or imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.
