Section 166 B of Indian Penal Code (IPC) in Hindi and English

166 ख. पीड़ित का उपचार न करने के लिए दंड -

जो कोई ऐसे किसी लोक या प्रायवेट अस्पताल का, चाहे वह केन्द्रीय सरकार, राज्य सरकार, स्थानीय निकाय या किसी अन्य व्यक्ति द्वारा चलाया जा रहा हो, भारसाधक होते हुए दण्ड प्रक्रिया संहिता, 1973 (1974 का 2) की धारा 357ग के उपबंधों का उल्लंघन करेगा, वह कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि एक वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी या जुर्माने से या दोनों से, दंडित किया जाएगा।

166 B - Punishment for non-treatment of victim

Whoever, being in charge of a hospital, public or private, whether run by the Central Government, the State Government, local bodies or any other person, contravenes the provisions of section 357C of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine or with both.
