प्रकीर्ण

211. फीस उद्गृहीत करने की शक्ति -- ऐसे किसी नियम में, जिसे केन्द्रीय सरकार या राज्य सरकार इस अधिनियम के अधीन बनाने के लिए सशक्त है, आवेदनों, दस्तावेजों के संशोधन, प्रमाणपत्र, अनुज्ञप्ति, परमिट दिए जाने, परीक्षणों, पृष्ठांकन, बैजों, प्लेटों, प्रतिहस्ताक्षरों, प्राधिकरण, आंकड़ों अथवा दस्तावेजों या आदेशों की प्रतियां दिए जाने के संबंध में तथा ऐसे किसी अन्य प्रयोजन या बात के लिए, जिसके लिए अधिकारियों या प्राधिकारियों द्वारा इस अधिनियम या इसके अधीन बनाए गए किसी नियम के अधीन कोई सेवाएं की जानी है, ऐसी फीसों के, जो आवश्यक समझी जाएं, उद्ग्रहण के लिए उपबंध, इस आशय के किसी अभिव्यक्त उपबंध के न होते हुए भी, हो सकेगा :

परन्तु यदि सरकार, लोक हित में ऐसा करना आवश्यक समझे तो वह साधारण या विशेष आदेश द्वारा, व्यक्तियों के किसी वर्ग को कोई ऐसी फीस देने से या तो भागतः या पूर्णतः छूट दे सकेगी ।

CHAPTER XIV

MISCELLANEOUS

211. Power to levy fee -- Any rule which the Central Government or the State Government is empowered to make under this Act may, notwithstanding the absence of any express provision to that effect, provide for the levy of such fees in respect of applications, amendment of documents, issue of certificates, licences; permits, tests, endorsements, badges, plates, countersignatures, authorisation, supply of statistics or copies of documents or order and for any other purpose or matter involving the rendering of any service by the officers or authorities under this Act or any rule made thereunder as may be considered necessary :

Provided that the Government may, if it considers necessary so to do, in the public interest, by general or special order, exempt any class of persons from the payment of any such fee either in part or in full.
