22. दस्तावेजों की अन्तर्वस्तुं के बारे में मौखिक स्वीकृतियां कब सुसंगत होती हैं -- किसी दस्तावेज की अन्तर्वस्तु के बारे में मौखिक स्वीकृतियां तब तक सुसंगत नहीं होती, यदि और जब तक उन्हें साबित करने की प्रस्थापना करने वाला पक्षकार यह दर्शित न कर दे कि ऐसी दस्तावेज की अंतर्वस्तुओं का द्वितीयक साक्ष्य देने का वह एतस्मिन् पश्चात दिए हुए नियमों के अधीन हकदार है, अथवा जब तक पेश की गई दस्तावेज का असली होना प्रश्नगत न हो।

22. When oral admissions as to contents of documents are relevant -- Oral admissions as to the contents of a document are not relevant, unless and until the party proposing to prove them shows that he is entitled to give secondary evidence of the contents of such document under the rules hereinafter contained, or unless the genuineness of a document produced is in question.
