अधिनियम का किसी अन्य विधि के अल्पीकरण में न होना (Act not in derogation of any other law)

42 क. अधिनियम का किसी अन्य विधि के अल्पीकरण में न होना.-

इस अधिनियम के उपबंध तत्समय प्रवृत्त किसी अन्य विधि के उपबंधों के अतिरिक्त होंगे न कि उनके अल्पीकरण में और किसी असंगति की दशा में इस अधिनियम के उपबंधों का उस असंगति की सीमा तक ऐसी किस विधि के उपबंधों पर अध्यारोही प्रभाव होगा।

42 A. Act not in derogation of any other law.—

The provisions of this Act shall be in addition to and not in derogation of the provisions of any other law for the time being in force and, in case of any inconsistency, the provisions of this Act shall have overriding effect on the provisions of any such law to the extent of the inconsistency.
