27. “पत्नी, लिपिक या सेवक के कब्जे में संपत्ति” -

जबकि संपत्ति किसी व्यक्ति के निमित्त उस व्यक्ति की पत्नी, लिपिक या सेवक के कब्जे में है, तब वह इस संहिता के अर्थ के अन्तर्गत उस व्यक्ति के कब्जे में है।

स्पष्टीकरण - लिपिक या सेवक के नाते अस्थायी रूप से या किसी विशिष्ट अवसर पर नियोजित व्यक्ति इस धारा के अर्थ के अन्तर्गत लिपिक या सेवक है।

27. Property in possession of wife, clerk or servant -

When property is in the possession of a person's wife, clerk or servant, on account of that person, it is in that person's possession within the meaning of this Code.

Explanation - A person employed temporarily or on a particular occasion in the capacity of a clerk or servant, is a clerk or servant within the meaning of this section.
