अभियुक्त द्वारा भोगी गई निरोध की अवधि का कारावास के दंडादेश के विरुद्ध मुजरा किया जाना (Period of detention undergone by the accused to be set off against the sentence of imprisonment)

265 झ. अभियुक्त द्वारा भोगी गई निरोध की अवधि का कारावास के दंडादेश के विरुद्ध मुजरा किया जाना -- इस अध्याय के अधीन अधिरोपित कारावास के दंडादेश के विरुद्ध अभियुक्त द्वारा भोगी गई निरोध की अवधि का मुजरा किए जाने के लिए धारा 428 के उपबंध उसी रीति से लागू होंगे जैसे कि वह इस संहिता के किन्हीं अन्य उपबंधों के अधीन कारावास के संबंध में लागू होते हैं।

265- I. Period of detention undergone by the accused to be set off against the sentence of imprisonment - The provisions of section 428 shall apply, for setting off the period of detention undergone by the accused against the sentence of imprisonment imposed under this Chapter, in the same manner as they apply in respect of the imprisonment under other provisions of this Code.
