219. अभिकर्ता का पारिश्रमिक कब शोध्य हो जाता है -- किसी विशेष संविदा के अभाव में, किसी कार्य के पालन के लिए संदाय अभिकर्ता को तब तक शोध्य नही होता जब तक वह कार्य पूरा न हो जाए, किन्तु अभिकर्ता बेचे गए माल के लेखे उसे प्राप्त धनराशियों को प्रतिधृत कर सकेगा यद्यपि विक्रय के लिए उसे परेषित माल सारे का सारा बेचा न जा सका हो, या विक्रय वस्तुतः पूर्ण न हुआ हो।

219. When agent's remuneration becomes due - In the absence of any special contract, payment for the performance of any act is not due to the agent until the completion of such act; but an agent may detain money received by him on account of goods sold, although the whole of the goods consigned to him for sale may not have been sold, or although the sale may not be actually complete.
