The State of Maharashtra, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for biotech and pharmaceuticals sector at village Hadapsar/Manjri, Village, District-Pune in the State of Maharashtra.
