होशंगाबाद/बैतूल जिले के केन्द्रीय प्रूफ संस्थान, इटारसी फील्ड फायरिंग रेंज हेतु कुछ क्षेत्राेें को ऐसे क्षेत्र के रूप में निर्धारित करता है जिसके सम्पूर्ण क्षेत्र में मैदानी गोलीवारी तथा तोप अभ्यास किया जा सकेगा
