The Central Govt. hereby appoints the officer mentioned in column (2) of the Table below, being Gazette Officer of the Govt, to be Estate Officer for the purposes of the said Act, who shall exercise the powers conferred, and perform the duties imposed on an Estate Officer by or under the said Act within the local limits of his jurisdiction in respect of Public Premises specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table.
