Prohibiting the employment of contract labour in the job of Cargo Handling namely Loader and Packers in the establishment of Airport Authority of India and Indian Airlines (Now merged with Air India) at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette: Section 10 of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970

The Central Govt, in consultation with the Central Advisory Contract Labour Board, and having regard to the working conditions and benefits provided to contract labour and other relevant factors enumerated in sub-section (2) of section 10 of the said Act, hereby prohibits the employment of contract labour in the job of Cargo Handling namely Loader and Packers in the establishment of Airport Authority of India.
