Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O. 1148(E), dated 16th March, 2016 published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 17th March, 2016 issued under sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 or 1957), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government gave notice of its intention to prospect for coal in 74.233 hectares (approximately) or 183.43 acres (approximately) of the lands in the locality specified in the Schedule annexed to that notification;
