Acquisition of land in respect of “2 laning with paved shoulder and strengthening of NH-2B from existing Km 46+000 (Bhedia, Natunhat Bridge over river Ajoy) to Km 48+000 (Bolpur) in the district of Birbhum

In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the Special land Acquisition Officer, Birbhum as the competent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of “2 laning with paved shoulder and strengthening of NH-2B from existing Km 46+000 (Bhedia, Natunhat Bridge over river Ajoy) to Km 48+000 (Bolpur) in the district of Birbhum , West Bengal” as specified in the schedule given below.
