Reduction of stamp duty chargeable on the instruments of transfer of immovable property

NOTIFICATION

Jaipur, February 20, 2020 

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1998 (Act No. 14 of 1999) and in supersession of this department's notification number F.12(84)FD/Tax/2009-30 dated 08.07.2009, the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby orders that the stamp duty chargeable on the instruments of transfer of immovable property shall be reduced, with immediate effect, from 11 percent to 6 percent.
