MoU between India and Saudi Arabia for cooperation in the field of Housing

The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, was apprised about an MoU signed in February, 2019 between India and Saudi Arabia for cooperation in the field of Housing.

The MoU will promote technical cooperation in the field of Housing, including affordable/low-income housing and enhance the participation of authorities and companies in the housing and infrastructure projects undertaken in both countries.  It will also promote the sharing of knowledge and experiences in the development and transfer of modern construction techniques and encourage R&D in the fields of housing development.
