Land for Chutka nuclear plant allotted

CABINET DECISIONS

Bhopal : Tuesday, September 22, 2015, 15:20 IST

The state government has allotted 41 hectare land for Chutka nuclear plant. This was decided at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today. Union Atomic Energy Department’s undertaking Nuclear Power Corporation of India has been allocated 41.49 hectares as per collector guideline for financial year 2015-16, premium calculated on its basis and 7.5 percent annual lease rent. The plant will come up at village Chutka in Narayan Ganj tahasil of Mandla district.

The cabinet decided that 77.320 km long Kannaud-Satwasa-Punasa (NH 41) road will be constructed with loan from NABARD Infrastructure Development Assistance (NIDA) under EPC mode.

The cabinet accorded sanction to create 25 posts for establishment of District Commandant Home Guards office in newly constituted Agar-Malwa district.

The cabinet accorded sanction to create 7 posts for expanded activities of Swaraj Sansthan Sanchalanalay under Culture Department.

The cabinet decided to create 24 posts of law clerk for High Court.

The cabinet gave consent to avail HUDCO loan for reconstruction of 1200 km long main district roads by Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation. The corporation will obtain loan worth Rs. 2000 crore at 10.50 percent annual interest rate from HUDCO for construction of district roads. HUDCO will give 90 percent of project cost whereas 10 percent will be given through budgetary provision. The reconstruction of district roads is expected to be completed in next 2 and half years.

The cabinet decided to delete “Bhrashtachar Adhiniyam, 1988 Ki Dhara 10 Ke Antargat Abhiyojan Ki Manzoori” in the subject allotted to Law Department and amended the Act by including “Bhrashtachar Adhiniyam, 1988 Ki Dhara 19 Ke Antargat Abhiyojan Ki Manzoori Evam Dand Sanhita Ki Dhara 197 Tatha Vishesh/Anya Adhiniyamon Ke Antargat Lok Sewaon Ke Viruddh Abhiyojan Ki Manzoori Se Sambandhit Vishay”.
