Administrative sanction of Rs. 1740 crore for 656 km long 12 roads

A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today accorded administrative sanction of Rs. 1740 crore for 656.40 km long 12 roads. These include 8 state highways and 4 district main roads.

Barna canal
The cabinet sanctioned from state fund proposed works with estimated cost of Rs. 234 crore 56 lakh under second and third phases of expansion, strengthening and modernization of Barna major irrigation project in Raisen district.
Restructuring of services of MP Online
The cabinet decided for tripartite agreement between MP Online, District E-Governance Society and kiosk operators to strengthen existing kiosk in all urban and rural areas to make available government services more effectively to maximum number of people as desired by Government of India under Digital India Programme. All these kiosks will be known as MP Online kiosks.
Apart from providing various commission-based services like E-Governance, G2C and B2C, these kiosks can also do works of data entry, scanning etc. for state government and its corporations, boards and other institutions. It has been decided to establish MP Online kiosks upto Gram Panchayat level. If eligible, MP Online kiosk will also be designated as “Aadhar Kendra”.
Agriculture loans at zero percent interest rate
The cabinet decided to continue distribution of loans to farmers at zero percent interest rate through primary credit cooperative societies during 2015-16 under short-term loan scheme till June 2015 in the format of year 2014-15.
Posts sanctioned
The cabinet sanctioned creation of 30 new posts of nursing superintendent under nursing cadre of Directorate of Health Services. Necessary posts for establishment of District Education Centre’s office in Agar-Malwa district were also sanctioned. For updgrading ANM training centre to JNM training centre at Balaghat, 29 posts were sanctioned. Two posts each of system analyst, programmer and data entry operator were sanctioned in EDP Cell. The cabinet endorsed Chief Minister’s order to continue one-year contractual 216 posts for district courts and High Court for one more year. Besides, it was also decided to create 184 new posts for State Legal Service Authority.
Bharat-Oman refinery
The cabinet decided to extend period of use and trading of naphtha produced by Bharat-Oman Refinery Limit for 3 years with effect from November 19, 2014.
Rs. 13 lakh sanctioned to Abdul Qadir
As a special humanitarian gesture, the cabinet sanctioned assistance of Rs. 13 lakh 20 thousand 38 for treatment of 8 years old child Abdul Qadir. Both hands of the child were amputated after coming in contact with current of high-tension line. The child will be treated by Mayo Electric Prosthesis System.
