An act to provide for the establishment and incorporation of a State Law University at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh to be known as the Uttar Pradesh National Law University, Prayagraj, for the purposes of advancement of the cause of learning, teaching and research and diffusion of knowledge in the field of law as also to cater to the needs of the society by developing professional skills of persons intending to take up advocacy, judicial service, law officers/managers and legislative drafting as their profession and for matters contained therewith or incidental thereto.
