THE SREE PANDARA VAKA LANDS (VESTING ANO ENFRANCHISEMENT) AMENDMENT ACT, 1975

(Act 9 of 1975)

    An Act to amend the Sree Pandaravaka Lands (Vesting and Enfranchisement) Act, 1971

    Preamble.-Whereas it is expedient to amend the Sree Pandaravaka Lands (Vesting and Enfranchisement) Act, 1971, for the purpose hereinafter appearing ;

BE it enacted in the Twenty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title and commencement:- (1) This Act may be called the Sree Pandaravaka Lands (Vesting and Enfranchisement) Amendment Act, 1975.

 (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of August, 1973.

2 Amendment of section 13:- In section 13 of the Sree Pandaravaka Lands (Vesting and Enfranchisement) Act, 1971 (20 of 1971) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in the proviso to sub-section (1), for the words "two years", the words "four years" shall be stubstituted.

3 Repeal and saving:- (1) The Sree Pandaravaka Lands (Vesting and Enfrachisement) Amendment Ordmance, 1975 (1 of 1975), is hereby repealed. 

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the principal Act as amended by the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the principal act as amended by this Act.
