THE HIMACHAL PRADESH SPORTS (REGISTRATION, RECOGNITION AND REGULATION OF ASSOCIATIONS) REPEAL ACT, 2009
(ACT NO. 9 OF 2009)
AN ACT to repeal the Himachal Pradesh Sports (Registration, Recognition and Regulation of Associations) Act, 2005 (Act No. 13 of 2005).
BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in theSixtieth Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
1. Short title.-This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Sports (Registration,Recognition and Regulation of Associations) Repeal Act, 2009.
2. Repeal of Act No. 13 of 2005 and saving.-(1) The Himachal Pradesh Sports (Registration, Recognition andRegulation of Associations) Act, 2005 (hereinafter referred to as the principalAct ) is hereby repealed.
(2) The repeal of the principal Act shall not affect—
(a) The previous operation of, or anything duly done or sufferedunder the principal Act, or
(b) Any right, privilege or obligation or liability acquired, accruedor incurred under the principal Act, or
(c) Any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect ofany offence under the principal Act, or
(d) Any investigation, legal proceedings or remedy in respect ofany such right, privilege, obligation, liability, penalty, forfeitureor punishment as aforesaid, and any such investigation, legal proceeding or remedy may be instituted,continued or enforced; and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may beimposed as if the principal Act had not been repealed
