No. S.O. 89/H.A.16/1993/S.21/2005- In exercises of the powers cgnferred by sub-section (l) read with sub-section (2) of section 21 of the Haryana cotton Ginning and Pressing Factories Act" 1992 (Act 16 of 1993)' the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following rules; for carrying out the purposes of the said Act, narnely :-
1. Short title and commencement:- (1) These rules may be called the Haryana Cotton Ginning and Pressing Factories Rules, 2005.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of publication in the official Gazette.
2. Definitions :- In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,-
(a) "Act" means the Haryana cotton Ginning and Pressing Factories Act,1992 (Act 16 of 1993);
(b) "Torm" means a form apended to these rules;
(c) "section" means a section of the Act; and
(d) words and expressions used in these rules but not defined,shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in the Act'
3. Admixture sections 5 and 21(2)(a):- Mixture of more rhan three percent of different varieties of cotton shall be treated as adrnixture of cotton
4.Permissible seed content sections 21(2)(b):- The proportion of seed that may be contained in any ginned conon (lint) shall not exceed 0.5 percent
