In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, and with previous approval of the Central Government under the proviso to sub-section (6) of section 81 of the Bombay Reorganization Act, 1960 (Act 11
of 1960), the Governor of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules, namely :-
