Gujarat Ayurved University Act, 1965 

An Act to establish and incorporate a teaching and affiliating University in the State of Gujarat to be known as the Gujarat Ayurved University for the purpose of ensuring efficient and systematic instruction, teaching, training and research in the Ayurvedic system of medicine.

It is hereby enacted in the sixteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

CHAPTER I.

PRELIMINARY.

1. (1) This Act may be called the Gujarat Ayurved University Act, 1965.

    (2) This section shall come into force at once.

    (3) The State Government may by notification in the Official Gazette, direct that all or any of the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force on such date or dates as may be specified in the notification.
