Goa Tillari Irrigation Development Corporation Act, 1999

An act to make a special provision for mobilisation of resources for completion of the Tillari Irrigation Project, a joint venture of the Government of Goa and the Government of Maharashtra, in time bound manner and for that purpose to establish the Goa Tillari Irrigation Development Corporation, and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid. 

Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Goa in the Fiftieth Year of the Republic of India as follows:— 

CHAPTER I

PRELIMINARY

1. Short title, extent and commencement.— (1) This Act may be called the Goa Tillari Irrigation Development Corporation Act, 1999.

(2) It shall extend to the areas as specified in the Schedule and such other areas, as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify.

(3) It shall come into force at once.
