Director, Economics and Statistics, in Gujarat Statistical Services, Class-I Recruitment Rules-2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and in supersession of all the rules made in this behalf, the Governor of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules to provide for regulating recruitment to the post of Director, Economics and Statistics in Gujarat Statistical Service, Class I, namely:-

1. These rules may be called the Director, Economics and Statistics, in Gujarat Statistical Service, Class I Recruitment Rules, 2012.

2. In these rules unless the context otherwise requires Director means the posts included in Annexure I are annexed to these rules and shall include all other posts declared by a general or special order by the Government as such.

3. In these rules unless the context otherwise requires Joint Director means the posts included in Annexure-II are annexed to these rules and shall include all other posts declared by a general or special order by the Government as such.
