Amendments in Bihar Judicial Service (Recruitment) rules, 1955

NOTIFICACTION
In exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 234 of the Constitution of India, read with the proviso to Article 309, the Governor of Bihar, in consultation with the High Court of Judicature at Patna and the Bihar Public Service Commission, is pleased to make the following amendments in Bihar Judicial Service (Recruitment) Rules 1955, with immediate effect :
AMENDMENTS
1. The following new Rule 25 (b) shall be added after Rule 25 (a) of the Bihar Judicial Service (Recruitment) Rules 1955:
"(b)- If the officer in the cadre of Civil Judge (Junior Division) leaves the service or reigns from the service before completion of three years of service, recovery of cost of training and emoluments paid for that period will be realized from him.
2. (i) In serial number- 1, below the 'subject" under APPENDIX-C under the caption "Syllabus for the Competitive Examination" prescribed under rule-14 of Bihar Judicial Service (Recruitment) Rules 1955, the following shall be added as sub serial number (4) after sub serial number (3) :
(4) General English - 100 Marks".
(ii) And the word " This compulsory paper" used in the last Para of the serial 1 shall be substituted by the words "Compulsory paper of General Hindi and General English"
