Amendment in Bihar staff selection commission Conduct of Examination Rules, 2010

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under sub section (1) of section-12 of the Bihar Staff Selection Commission Act, 2002 (Bihar Act, 7, 2002), the State Government of Bihar is pleased to amend Rule-5 of the Bihar Staff Selection Commission Conduct of Examination Rules, 2010 with immediate effect:
AMENDMENT
Rule-5 of the said Rules, 2010 shall be substituted by the following:
"5. The examination shall be conducted in the following two or more stages :
(a) Preliminary examination
(One or More than one stages)
The preliminary examination shall be conducted in more than one stages on being the number of applications more than four lakhs. In each examination, candidates obtaining 10% highest marks shall be permitted to appear in the preliminary examination -2. The main examination shall be conducted for successful candidates of preliminary examination -2.'
